Liane Pinquart - Harp
was born in 1979 in Weimar.  She graduated from the Weimar Hochschule and has been the principal harpist of the Theater & Philharmonie Thüringen since 2003.
Markus Künzig - Horn
was born in 1977 in Buchen.  He studied in Würzburg, Stuttgart, and Leipzig.  He is a graduate of the Schleswig Holstein Academy and was an orchestra member in Würzburg, Wiemar, and Gera.
Constanze Backes - Sopran

was born in Bochum and studied in Essen, Dresden and London where she received the "Lady Nixon Prize" and became a member of the Monteverdi Choir. Under the direction of Sir J.E. Gardiner, she has sung in international opera productions in Paris, Parma and with the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
Lutz Koppetsch - Saxofon
was born in 1976 in Aachen.  He studied in Amsterdam and Paris and is a regular guest with renowned ensembles and orchestras.  Mr. Koppetsch was awarded an ECHO Classic prize in 2005.  In 2001, he received third prize at the ARD Competition in Munich.
Miki Hashimoto - Piano
received her diploma at the Art Academy in Kyoto. Since 2002 she lives in Germany and studied in Weimar and Leipzig. As a soloist and chamber musician she concerted in Kyoto and other Japanese cities, in Berlin, Paris and Weimar.
Wilfried Pucher - Narrator
- wurde 1940 in Thüringen geboren. Nach dem Studium in Berlin und ersten Engagements in Gera und Potsdam wechselt er ab 1971 zum Film und ist bis heute in zahllosen Fernsehproduktionen präsent. Musikalisch-Literarische Auftritte führen ihn durch ganz Deutschland.
Lukas Dreyer - Violoncello
was born in 1969 in Döbeln.  He studied in Frankfurt, Aachen and Budapest.  He is principle cellist of the Theater & Philharmonie Thüringen and regularly performs solos and chamber music in Europe and the USA.
Vocalconsort Leipzig - Kammerchor
wurde 1999 auf Initiative des derzeitigen Gewandhauschorleiters Gregor Meyer gegründet. Das Vocalconsort ist regional und deutschlandweit in a-cappella-Konzerten zu erleben, u.a. regelmäßig in Leipzig, Dresden und Halle.
Stefan Stopora - Schlagzeug
geb. 1963. Studium in Leipzig. 1984 - 1987 Solo-Pauker in Gera. Dannach Solo-Pauker beim Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Leipzig, jetzt MDR-Sinfonieorchester. Mitglied des "Ensemble Avantgarde Leipzig". Lehrtätigkeit an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig.
